Swept Away By a Kiss By Katharine Ashe
The story here is well paced although there are some disjointed parts, for instance, Valerie's dreams are described in several chapters but the reader has no idea of the significance of all the dreams until nearly the end of the novel. Portions of the characters backgrounds were missing too, Steven was raised by his native American family for years but there's not much information on his experiences. The dialogue occasionally was a bit stilted too. Still, this novel has spark between the characters; I never doubted that they wanted to be with each other and even though Valerie is a bit self involved she is courageous and determined. Lastly the hero was truly heroic raising this novel to a four star read.
